Privacy, in plain language

Our games

GBG Education games collect no student data. Each game is one self-contained HTML file, and:

• There are no student accounts and no logins.
• There are no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.
• The game makes no network requests. It never sends anything anywhere.
• The game stores nothing on the device.
• Students never enter their names, and no student names appear in any game.

Scores are not saved. At the end of a game, the student sees a completion code that includes their score. If the teacher asks for it, the student submits that code through the teacher's own LMS, such as Canvas or Google Classroom. We never see it.

This website

• No analytics, no cookies, and no trackers.
• Everything on the site, including the font, is served from our own site. We do not load anything from other companies' servers.

Like any web host, Netlify may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) to run and secure the site. We do not use them to track visitors.

The consultation form

When you send the consultation form, what you type is delivered to us through our web host's form service (Netlify). We use it only to quote, build, and deliver your order, and to contact you about it.

Please do not include student names or any student information in the form. We never need it.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe through payment links. You enter your card details on Stripe's page, not ours, so we never see or store your card number. For School or Department Packs paid by invoice or purchase order, we keep the billing details needed to complete the order.

Hosted game links

If you choose a hosted link, we place your game at an unlisted address on our site and tell search engines not to index it. Playing a hosted game works the same way as any other copy: the game itself collects nothing.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your information. The only outside services involved are our web host (Netlify), which delivers form submissions to us and serves this site, and Stripe, which processes payments.

Deleting your information

You can ask us to delete your information at any time. Email us and we will delete your consultation details and order correspondence, except anything we are required to keep for tax or accounting records.
